Bernd Wiesberger will take a commanding three-shot lead into the final round of the Shenzhen International after a marathon third day featuring two holes-in-one at Genzon GC.
Wiesberger managed to complete his second-round 65 before storms curtailed play on Friday, and he kept his good form flowing as he carded a third-round 69 despite an uncertain start.

The Austrian, without a European Tour win since the 2015 Open de France, was one over after six holes with the chasing pack reeling him in, but he got back on track when he birdied the seventh and ninth for the second day running to turn in 35.

Wiesberger picked up further shots at 13 and 15 either side of another mistake at the 14th, and he made his third birdie of the tournament at the 17th before safely parring the last to close on 15 under, three clear of the field.
Dylan Fritelli emerged as Wiesberger’s closest challenger after the South African birdied the last two holes to cap his third 68 of the week, lifting him a shot ahead of his compatriots George Coetzee (67) and last month’s Tshawne Open champion Dean Burmester (68).

Wiesberger is on course for his first win since 2015

In-form Englishman Ross Fisher is also in the share of third on 11 under after he carded a solid four-birdie 69, while American David Lipsky raced up the leaderboard with a run of five birdies in seven holes on the inward half as he posted an excellent 67.
Frenchman Alexander Levy was the clubhouse leader for some time after he returned the low round of the day, an eight-under 64 featuring six birdies in nine holes from the fifth followed by an eagle at the 17th – just the third three of the round at the penultimate hole.
Star draw Bubba Watson struggled to get much going on the greens as he fired a 70 to stay within striking distance of Wiesberger on 10 under alongside Levy and Gregory Bourdy, who made a sensational start when he followed a birdie at the second with a hole-in-one at the third.
The remainder of Bourdy’s 70 was a mixed bag as he offset four birdies with three bogeys and a double-bogey at the 14th, while Yan-Wie Liu gave the home fans plenty to cheer as he returned a flawless 66 which he capped with a birdie-birdie finish.

English rookie Jordan Smith carded a third straight 69 to move to nine under, with Tommy Fleetwood a further two shots adrift after he also birdied the final two holes to be three under on the day.
Mikko Korhonen is out of contention on three under par, but the Finn had the honour of making a hole in one at the 16th in his delayed second round, finding the target with a four-iron at the 220-yard par-three.
